FUNCTION
Inno is a damper for circular ducts. It consists entirely of soft elastic foam and has excellent sound attenuation properties. The damper includes a number of oval openings provided with removeable plugs. The pressure drop across the damper is regulated by varying the number of open holes. The special material and the design of the holes provide low noise output even at high pressure drops. Inno is equipped with measuring sockets for quick adjustment.
The dimensionally stable foam plastic has an open cellular structure and high density, which provides particularly good sound-absorbing capabilities. For this reason, the damper is also able to function as a simple silencer. Noise reduction can be further increased by placing several Inno units consecutively in the duct. Noise problems, such as cross-talk between rooms, can often be resolved with Inno.
