Condensation Hoods

The Jeven Condensation Hood is a hood that has been specially developed for handling condensed water in processes where there is an excessive build-up of water vapour.
It is especially suitable over cooking pots where the raked ceiling of the hood prevents the droplets that form from landing in the cooking.
The condensed water is led through the roof into a gutter where it collects.
For kitchens with heavy loads, it may be necessary to install a drain for the condensation in the gutter and thus avoid overflowing.

Lighting

As standard, the hood is supplied with recessed LED lighting prepared for DALI control.

The lighting fixture is delivered with a cable for connection to a junction box.

FUNCTION

  1. Contaminated air rises to the roof of the hood.
  2. From there it is sucked out through the roof and the moisture precipitates.
  3. The cleaned air is then sucked out into the exhaust flue.
  4. Draught-free fresh air is supplied to the room via demountable air supply units.

The hood is designed for a pressure drop of 30-50 Pa and an internal noise output lower than 40 dB (A)

Diffusion image from the supply air diffuser

The diffusion and flow of the supply air is readily adjustable, which makes possible a draught-free supply of fresh air.
Since supply air diffusers can be placed on all sides of the hood, air can be supplied to anywhere in the kitchen.
The number of supply air units is determined by the total flow to be supplied to the hood. The supply air diffusers are easy to disassemble for cleaning in a dishwasher.

Cyclone Hoods

Jeven Cyclone Hoods are equipped with cyclone filters suitable for kitchens with lower purification requirements. A cyclone filter separates grease by sucking air into a circular chamber where it produces a vortex. Grease and other contaminants are thrown out to the periphery and the purified air flows up to the exhaust flue. Maintenance is very simple as the filter cells can be easily removed from their housing and cleaned in a dishwasher.

Jeven Cyklonkåpor är utrustade med cyklonfilter som är lämpliga i kök med lägre krav på rening. Ett cyklonfilter avskiljer fett genom att luften sugs in i en cirkulär kammare där det uppsåt en virvel. Fett och andra föroreningar slungas ut mot periferin och den renade luften strömmar upp mot imkanal. Underhållet är mycket enkelt då filtercellerna lätt plockas ner från filterhuset och rengörs i diskmaskin. Cyklonkåpor finns både som tilluftskåpa JSI, styrluftskåpa JVI och som frånluftskåpa JLI.

Jeven Kondenskåpa är en kåpa speciellt utvecklad för att ta hand om kondenserat vatten i processer där mycket vattenånga bildas. Den är speciellt lämplig över kokgrytor där det lutande taket i kåpan förhindrar att de droppar som bildas hamnar i matlagningen. Kåpan finns både som tilluftskåpa JSKI och som frånluftskåpa JKI. Det kondenserade vattnet leds via taket ned i en kondensränna där vattnet samlas upp. I kök med hård belastning kan det krävas att kondensrännan dräneras för att undvika att droppränna blir överfull.

UV-Turbo hoods

Modern technology for demanding grease reduction in professional kitchens. UV-TurboHoods are equipped with TurboSwing filters which use ozone-free UV light. Purification using UV light reduces small particles by means of catalysis. Combined with TurboSwing filters, this purification method yields high separation rates for both small and large grease particles and is especially suitable for variable flows as the separation process is completely constant irrespective of flow.
